Subject: Evergreen Boys State Bulletin - October 2021

Greetings!

Welcome to the October issue of the Evergreen Boys State Bulletin. In an effort to help keep everyone better informed we want to share as much information as possible as quickly and widely as possible. In future months, we will continue to provide updates to you via email.

In addition to the bulletin, we have also included a quick reference document with handy information, some Post Instructional materials, and the newly approved Post Recruiter’s Handbook.

Keep in mind that the young people who thrive at EBS are the type of individuals who plan their activities many months in advance. I have spoken to students who, in October, are already planning activities for the following summer. That means we cannot wait until next Spring to begin recruiting – we must start contacting these young people now! There is no need to wait until you receive a packet of paper EBS forms via USPS. All the information (and more!) is available to you already on the EvergreenBoysState.org website. That means you can get started recruiting NOW rather than waiting until January/February/March.

Please feel free to share this email with others in your Post and District! If your Post or District Evergreen Boys State Chairperson did not receive this email directly from us, please let me know their name and email address and I will add them to the distribution list for future editions.

Your Evergreen Boys State committee members and staff are here to help you.  Please feel free to contact us at office@evergreenboysstate.org

Our apologies if you received this twice.

Respectfully,

Carol M. Reed
